Campanula porscharskyana ‘Lisduggan Variety’ is a very vigorous ground cover with a long flowering season that produces hundreds of star shaped flowers.

The leaves are velvet and heart-shaped, produced on long stalks.

The flowers are small, star-shaped and a lovely lavender-pink.

In the wild, it grows in rock crevices and mountain screes. It extends via rooting stems that anchor themselves into the soil, gradually covering a larger area.

It is known for its remarkable adaptability and resilience, becoming a staple of many ‘rewild’ gardens – clambering over rocks and dry slopes to bring a profusion of lavender flowers in summer.

👨‍🌾GARDENING TIPS👨‍🌾:

      • In hot, dry weather, blooming may pause in summer, followed by a resurgence in autumn.
      • 🌱 Watch out for waterlogging – these rock climbers really despise having soggy roots.
      • ☀️ Campanula will not stand a scorching sun or dry winds – keep her protected on a north/east facing slope, hiding and creeping between stones. AS a mountain plant, climbing is what she does best!
