Sustainable Perennial Nursery: A Garden Adapted to Dry Climates

Nestled in the heart of the magnificent valleys of the Deux Sèvres, plant d’Avenir is a sanctuary dedicated to the care and propagation of resilient, drought-tolerant perennials. In response to climate change and increasingly frequent droughts, our nursery highlights a selection of perennials specially adapted to dry gardens and poor soils. Without forgetting about beauty of course! As an artist and illustrator, I have chosen the collection of perennials not only for their powers of resilience, but also for their unique graphic aspects – a long stems, a rare color, an unusual flower shape or leaf texture.

This fusion of resilience and artistry creates a great range of colors and textures for anyone interested in dipping their toes into the wonderful world of plants and for those who are experienced landscapers or gardeners.

A Collection of Resilient Plants

We cultivate a wide range of perennials that thrive with minimal watering while offering a stunning floral display. Among our flagship varieties, you will find:

  • Lavenders and Thymes, with their fragrances that attract pollinators (and humans!),
  • Sedums and houseleeks, true champions of drought resistance,
  • Sages and yarrow, with their vibrant colors and aromatic foliage,
  • Euphorbias and blanket flowers, which bring unusual shapes and structures to garden beds or terraces.

A Commitment to Ecology

Committed to preserving natural resources, we promote sustainable cultivation without pesticides and prioritize environmentally friendly production methods. Our plants are grown outdoors in conditions similar to their future planting environment, ensuring optimal adaptation.
