Delosperma lineare

Delosperma lineare is a vibrant, low-growing succulent with thin, elegant leaves that sprawl to form a dense, mat-like groundcover.

The bright green foliage is sedum-like, shaped somewhat like a little caterpillar and is very dense, preventing weeds from both germinating and growing.

The ice plants are great for green roofs and sloping terrain as they prefer well-draining soil and buckets of sunlight.

In flower beds, the nectar-rich flowers are a real treat for bees and great to cover up bare areas or drape around a rock garden.
