Delosperma cooperi is a dwarf perennial known for its drought tolerance, its ability to withstand the summer heat and the vermillion colored flowers that blossom throughout the summer.
Delosperma is a genus of succulents containing around 180 species.
She has “bladder-like hairs on the leaf surface that reflect and refract light in a manner to make it appear that they sparkle like ice crystals” (as described by the New Mexico State University).
