Persicaria Affinis ‘Donald Lowndes’ is a low spreading, ground cover plant that produces magnificent short pink pokers of small flowers all summer long.
👨🌾GARDENING TIPS👨🌾:
-
- Do try to respect Donald’s preference for some afternoon shade, otherwise you will notice some scorching on the peach-like leaves.
- Although a strong and fast growing plant, there is no need to worry about it being invasive.
- 💧While the Persicarias are drought resistant over time, this variety does require water to establish itself if you are planting it outside so do keep the soil moist in the first few months.
