Haworthiopsis attenuata is an evergreen succulent plant with tapered, white-striped leaves arranged in delicate rosettes.

They are generally very hardy and, as a succulent, particularly drought – tolerant.

As the plant grows, it produces pups which can be subdivided and offset easily. In the wild, they grow in large clumps, forming one large family!

      The Tale: Haworthiopsis attenuata

      Attenuata means “tapering” in Latin.

The difference between Haworthiopsis attenuata and the rarer Haworthiopsis fasciata?

Haworthiopsis attenuata can easily be distinguished by its white tubercles (these create the ‘zebra’ stripes), which occur on both upper and lower sides of its leaves

      H. fasciata has tubercles only on the underside, with a smooth upper surface of its leaves.
