Erigeron glaucus is a daisy-like flowering plant that loves all kinds of difficult terrain, including coastal areas.

The flowers are large, with shades from white to pink around a central yellow heart.
The leaves are a grey-green color and are shaped like large spoons.

Si le sol est particulièrement rocailleux et pauvre et que le soleil est particulièrement intense, alors elle prospérera.
Gardez un œil sur elle car elle peut s'échapper de sa zone désignée !

L'Histoire

Glaucus comes from the Ancient Greek: Γλαῦκος (Glaûkos) which means‘glimmering’.

Glaucus himself was a Greek prophetic sea-god, born a mortal fisherman and then becomes immortal after he ate a magical herb. I am still not sure which herb it was – would be nice to know for the future. I’ll keep you posted.

It was believed that he rescued sailors and fishermen in storms.

In botany, it often refers to a sea-green or bluish-green coloration of the foliage – we have another plant that bears the name : Festuca glauca

Glauque in French today means ‘in poor health’ – the linguistic shift is dramatic.
