Pycnanthemum verticillatum is a mountain mint from the genus Pycnanthemum that is native to the eastern United States.

Tall and slender, this mountain mint has narrow, nearly needle-shaped leaves and clusters of white flowersfrom May to September.
It  is considered high in nectar resources for pollinators and attracts a diverse set of pollinators including bees, wasps, moths, and butterflies.
This is an easy care perennial that can thrive in unforgiving conditions (poor soil, drought, scorching sun) and it is even good for controlling erosion, especially on a hillside or mountain.
