Cerastium tomentosum var. columnae is a soft, grey leaved, fast spreading ground cover originally from the mountains regions.

The leaves are soft and a striking grey-silver color, illuminating and reflecting light in the most magical way.

The flowers are little, white and star-shaped – blooming continuously throughout the summer.

    • This ground cover is ideal for rock gardens and steep dry slopes as it thrives in well drained, dry soils.
    • It also looks quite dandy in a hanging basket as its foliage reflects the light and creates a curtain of soft silver.
